How the MiniLaser detector works

MiniLaser is an aspirating smoke detector: it continuously draws air from the protected space through a pipe network to the detector, where a highly sensitive sensor looks for the first traces of smoke. This gives warning at the incipient stage of a fire, long before a point detector would react. Sensitivity can be set across a wide range, and setup is quick.

It uses the same technology as ModuLaser in a compact detector, which makes it a good fit where the space is small or the budget is tight but you still need very early warning.

Where to use MiniLaser

MiniLaser suits server and telecom rooms, small data centers, cleanrooms, archives, museums and heritage rooms, cold stores, lift shafts and any area where a visible detector is unwelcome or hard to reach. For larger or more complex installations, see ModuLaser.
